OMRI listed, Fish Bone Meal Organic Plant Food is very high in phosphorous, which makes it ideal for amending planting holes because it initiates strong root growth and helps to lessen transplant shock. Phosphorous also promotes more budding and can be used on all flowering plants. Made from Pacific Whiting bones that are dehydrated and ground into meal. An excellent natural source of phosphorus, calcium and nitrogen. It is also preservative-free and a very effective alternative for traditional steamed bone meal. Plants that benefit from adding fish bone meal to their planting holes include: bulbs, lilacs, forsythia, spiraea, clematis and roses. Available in 3lb bags.
